ETA-IL THE NEW ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENT
TO TRAVEL TO ISRAEL STARTING IN JANUARY 2025
All individuals planning to travel to Israel must obtain an ETA-IL electronic travel authorization. This new regulation applies to citizens of countries exempt from visas and allows for tourist visits of up to 90 days. The ETA-IL is a convenient online procedure designed to facilitate entry into the country and streamline your travel experience.
Are you eligible for ETA-IL?
You only need to respond to a brief questionnaire to determine your eligibility for the ETA-IL. Citizens from visa-exempt countries are eligible, but you'll need to pursue a conventional visa if you don't meet the criteria. Individuals holding diplomatic or official passports are not required to apply for the ETA-IL.
Travelers will have the option to participate in this process for five months, until the end of 2024. This is to enable them to become accustomed to Israel's new entry regulations.
Starting from January 2025, this process will be required for entry into Israel. Getting your ETA-IL is fast and easy, enabling you to experience your trip to Israel without hassle. Prepare to discover this captivating destination!
